The company Tomás Castro Silva, Lda., manufacture of RICO machines, has been developing its activity in the field of sheet metal industry since 1969, year of its foundation.

It  Started its activity by producing and developing drilling machines and plate rolls, thanks to their sturdiness, reliability and quality rapidly swept the national market and boosted the development of new projects related to the sheet metal.

In 1975 we have our bet in machines to cut and bend plate having introduced in the national market our first Press Brakes and Shears.

Again the quality of our products had a great acceptance in the national market and from the 80´s we start being present in several international exhibitions.

In 1980 we also began exporting, first with agents in England and Spain until spreading into the five Continents.

At present we are located in the metropolitan area of Oporto, with a covered area of 6.000m2 and an open space of 20.000m2. We have a devote team searching for the right solutions to answer our customer’s need.
